Musubi — Yōgan

溶岩
Lava

Yōgan (溶岩) means lava in Japanese — a name inspired by the deeply textured surface of this elemental ring, reminiscent of molten earth cooled and shaped over time.

Part of our Musubi Collection, Yōgan is hand fabricated in yellow gold and set with seven natural round brilliant-cut diamonds. The rugged, organic hand carved texture gives the gold a raw, sculptural character, while the diamonds appear like flashes of light breaking through the surface.

There is a natural connection between the design and the stones themselves. Diamonds are formed deep within the earth under extraordinary heat and pressure, making their presence within Yōgan feel especially meaningful. The ring carries that same sense of transformation — something powerful shaped by intense forces and revealed as beauty.

The contrast between the rough, sculptural gold and the crisp brilliance of the diamonds gives Yōgan a striking balance of strength and light.

Yōgan is a celebration of transformation — of beauty shaped through heat, pressure, change, and the forces that leave their mark in the world.

Musubi Collection

Inspired by the Japanese concept of Musubi, this collection celebrates the beauty of connection. Meaning "to bind together," Musubi is at the heart of every union, every bond, and every meaningful relationship in Japanese culture. Rooted in the idea that two distinct elements can come together while retaining their own identity, the collection explores harmony through thoughtfully paired metals, gemstones, and organic forms and textures. Each piece is a celebration of craftsmanship, balance, and the beauty that emerges when individual elements are brought together with intention.
