BELINDA LOVE LEE

Belinda started as a designer outsourcing her letterpress printing, but quickly took interest in doing letterpress herself when she saw how hands-on and almost repetitively meditative it was. Belinda found her beauty of a press from an old print shop in Buffalo which was closing down.

Letterpress is a slow art that involves each piece of paper passing through your hands, placed on the press, which then the ink rollers, impress ink onto the paper with each treadle push using your legs. It's a full-body workout! Belinda desires to create greeting cards and stationery products that last more than just the moment of being read and thrown in the bin right away. The goal is to bring back the emphasis of writing on paper and to create beautiful, lasting cards that people will want to frame as keepsakes and memories for years to come!
