Musubi — Tōrō
灯籠
Stone Lanterns
Tōrō (灯籠) refers to the traditional lanterns found throughout Japanese gardens and temple grounds — quiet architectural forms designed to hold and cast light.
Part of our Musubi Collection, these hand-carved stud earrings feature two asymmetrical natural champagne rose-cut diamonds set in 14K yellow gold. Each diamond is embraced by an organic gold setting that follows the natural geometry of the stone, giving the pair a sculptural, almost architectural presence.
The softly faceted rose cuts catch the light with a gentle glow, much like light held within a lantern. Similar but never identical, each earring retains its own shape and character while remaining beautifully connected to the other.
Tōrō celebrates light, form, and quiet presence — two small lanterns of gold and diamond, created to be worn close and carried with you.

Musubi Collection
Inspired by the Japanese concept of Musubi, this collection celebrates the beauty of connection. Meaning "to bind together," Musubi is at the heart of every union, every bond, and every meaningful relationship in Japanese culture. Rooted in the idea that two distinct elements can come together while retaining their own identity, the collection explores harmony through thoughtfully paired metals, gemstones, and organic forms and textures. Each piece is a celebration of craftsmanship, balance, and the beauty that emerges when individual elements are brought together with intention.
