Musubi — Kaseki
化石
Fossil
Kaseki (化石) means fossil in Japanese, a name inspired by the way three rose-cut diamonds appear almost embedded within the surface of this richly textured ring.
Part of our Musubi Collection, Kaseki is hand fabricated and features three light brown rose-cut diamonds — marquise, oval, and pear — each resting organically within a weathered, earthbound band. The softly muted sparkle and individual shapes of the diamonds feel almost unearthed, like ancient treasures preserved within layers of earth and slowly revealed over time.
The band’s generous weight and heavily hand-worked texture give Kaseki a strong, elemental presence — tactile, enduring, and intentionally imperfect. Against this powerful form, the three diamonds remain distinct, yet beautifully connected within one unified design.
Kaseki is a celebration of strength, time, transformation, and the enduring beauty of something precious shaped and preserved by the earth.

Musubi Collection
Inspired by the Japanese concept of Musubi, this collection celebrates the beauty of connection. Meaning "to bind together," Musubi is at the heart of every union, every bond, and every meaningful relationship in Japanese culture. Rooted in the idea that two distinct elements can come together while retaining their own identity, the collection explores harmony through thoughtfully paired metals, gemstones, and organic forms and textures. Each piece is a celebration of craftsmanship, balance, and the beauty that emerges when individual elements are brought together with intention.
