Salt Spring Sea Salt was a labour of love created by Philippe Marill & Carolyn Kvajic . They created the gourmet salt by pairing a French culinary tradition with a natural West Coast resource, perfected the process with a dash of ingenuity, and a savoury twist. Phillippe passed away in December 2022
leaving a lasting legacy in Canadian Fleur de Sel.

Salt Spring Island Sea Salt is made with the finest hand-harvested fleur de sel crystals and infused with locally sourced ingredients.
They are proud to transform regular Pacific seawater into a fleur de sel that rivals its French origins. They harvest, evaporate, sift, prepare, pack and label all of their products by hand, using only the very best fleur de sel crystals, and are continually experimenting with new recipes.
